Still in England

What a strange month this has been, our two and a half week trip to the UK has become two and a half month trip. When we left Portugal coronavirus was predominately still a Chinese problem and we did not imagine how both family events and world events would develop over such a short time scale. The best laid plans!

The last few weeks have been weeks of frustrated plans and learning to adapt to the changing circumstances and unexpected stuff life throws up. We flew back to the UK mid February. As you may recall from our last post we welcomed our grand daughter in to the world on the 20th February. We planned to stay until the 4th March but sadly Graham’s Mother passed away on the 3rd March so we delayed our return. Winter in Portugal

When we made our  last post on this blog Christmas was a few days away. We celebrated Christmas Eve with friends from Riverside Church at their home followed by a Christmas Eve  service at Riverside. It is great to meet new people and share experiences and also see what we have in common.
